Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Motilo Health ("Motilo Health," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website and web application (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Motilo Health helps you build and follow a personalized training program. Most users are self-serve: you set your own goal and equipment, generate a training program with AI, and track your own training, diary entries, and progress. The Service also supports physical therapists, fitness coaches, and sports teams who build programs and track progress for the people they work with — see Section 4 below. The Service is a record-keeping and training tool — it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.

3. Not a healthcare-approved service

Motilo Health is a training and record-keeping tool. It is not a certified, approved, or regulated healthcare or medical-records application, and it has not been reviewed or approved by any healthcare regulator.

Please don't use the Service to store sensitive health information beyond what's needed for training — for example, medical diagnoses, clinical notes, test results, mental health details, or other protected health information. Keep entries focused on training-related information: exercises, sessions, general check-in notes, and the training and diary fields the Service provides.

If you (or, for a Coach or Team account, a client or player) need ongoing clinical documentation or medical record-keeping, please use a system designed and certified for that purpose instead of Motilo Health.

4. Accounts

Most users create a self-serve account directly — no invitation is required. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure, and must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Coach and Team accounts. Motilo Health also supports physical therapists, fitness coaches, and sports teams ("Coach Accounts") who build programs and track progress for clients or players they work with. New Coach Account registration is not currently open; existing Coach Accounts, and clients or players they've invited, remain subject to this section. If you create or manage an account on behalf of a client, patient, or player, you confirm you have the authority and any consent required to do so, including consent to enter their training or contact information into the Service, and you agree to follow Section 3 above when deciding what to enter.

5. Plans and billing

Motilo Health currently offers a free plan during our beta — no credit card required. Coach Accounts are additionally limited to a number of active clients, as shown in the Service. Additional paid plans may be introduced in the future; if they are, their own pricing and terms will be presented to you before they apply, and your continued use of a free plan will not be affected by that change without your consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service's infrastructure.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service or the exercise data it provides access to.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that is abusive, defamatory, or unlawful.

7. Exercise data and AI-generated content

Exercise data and videos provided by MuscleWiki.com.

Training programs and classes in the Service can be generated with the assistance of third-party AI models, based on the goals, equipment, and preferences you provide. AI-generated programs are a starting point, not a prescription — they haven't been reviewed by a professional, and you should always consult a healthcare provider before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an injury or health condition. For a Coach or Team account, the treating or coaching professional is responsible for reviewing, adapting, and approving any AI-generated program before it is used by a client or player.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you enter into the Service (programs, diary entries, notes, and similar records — including records entered by a Coach or Team account's clients or players). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motilo Health is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
